It’s on! The Puerto Rico Kite Surfing Federation invites you to the 2011 Puerto Rico Kiteboarding & Paddle Cup bringing together local and international professionals, amateurs and spectators. The event will be held April 29th through May 1st, 2011 at the Levitown beach in front of the Comfort Inn hotel. Cash prizes and medals will be awarded for local pros and amateur participants. The categories for the kiteboarding disciplines will be Pro Men Freestyle, Amateur Men Freestyle and Relay Course Racing. For paddle boarding there will be one category for downwinder long distance challenge.
The Cup will have the top talent of the island battling for the title on the eyes of guest international professionals Shannon Best, Jeremie Tronet, Linn Svendsen, Kris Kinn, Jon McCabe and Melissa Gil. They will be sharing their knowledge, tips and free riding with the locals throughout the weekend. Save the date and come out to enjoy this weekend full of riding with friends and share your passion with the pros in and off the water.
